All Adhered With a Hot Glue Gun.
Important: There is a little Metal Lip Inside of can Were the Lid Was Attached! Make Sure To Smash Down With Pliers Before You Wash! (I Put My Hand Inside To Wash And Cut My Finger On The Little Sharp Piece) So Take Care! Hugs,Tee

Jar Lids Were Altered With A Fiber Fill Material to Create a Pin Cushion (3 Layers) & Covered With a piece of a Red Knit.
Using a Hot Glue To Adhere & Cover Jars in Layers of Lace.

I Altered This Cute Size Garlic Jar With Cream Lace & Pearl Buttons, using a Hot Glue Gun.
The Problem was getting rid if the garlic smell, which was overbearing.Whew!
After many soakings, and a sliced lemon,baking soda, and sitting in the window all day.
The jar Was altered for Button keeping.

I made this Pink (Pin Cushion Lid) Jar from The Inspiration after visiting Kim's Trash 2 Treasure Challenge Group @ (PDA) Paper Digital Art & Images by Kim. This is Just One of The Fun Challenge/Swap Groups Hosted There!
And Here is Kim's TR2TR Blog for more Inspiration.
I Had Fun Putting This Together.And I Will Use It To Hold My Pink Crafty Things.
So Don't Throw Away Those Empty Jars!

After finding a Video on Making a Pin Cushion that Donna's Mom Did on You Tube. http://youtu.be/w6l6aDG2SsM
I Gave it a Go.
This is the 3rd one I made & my Least Fave. The Other 2 are for the Pin Cushion Swap I'm Hosting @ My Swap Blog > The Altered Paper
I used a little Fancy Feast Cat Food Can & Hot Glued Glass Gems Inside To Weigh it Down.
I was in need for material and opted to cut up a Red Knit Scarf To Create The Cushion. Again I Did Not Have Fiber Fill & Used Instead A Fiber Material I Had on Hand.
Cut out a Square & Pulled Corners To Create A Rounded Dome- I Rubber Banded And Cut A Red Square From Scarf & Rubber Banded that Around The Fiber Material - Trimmed Excesss & Hot Glued All Inside Can op Top Of Glued Down Glass Gems.
Pushed And Rounded While Gluing My Red Dome Creation To Inside Can Rim. ( without gobbing the glue outside of Rim)
That Done, Time To Cover Can Base- I used some wide Red Felt Ribbon Left Over From Christmas & Cut To Cover Can Base.
The Fun Part Next! Embellishing.. Using The Hot(Stringy) Glue Gun!
I Found Myself Over Embellishing Just To Cover Up Little Glue Gobs!
The Glue Gun & I Wrestled The Entire Project.
And I Spent A lot of Time Removing Glue Strings From The Project & Me!
Will I Do This Project Again? Certainly! I Loved The Finished Project!
