Altered Paper Mache Dress Form

A Vintage Lady-Altered Dress Form
Dress Form Base

The paper mache dress form was first covered in a printed music sheet, and a floral graphic was printed on top of the music sheet, for a nice effect. Both graphics from The Graphics Fairy
To cover the dress form with the altered music sheet, I used a mixture of Elmers glue & water, and let it dry overnight.
I adhered a pearl necklace, lace, tulle, flowers, & all other findings from my stash with a hot glue gun.
The hat was created from a plastic lid off a liquid washing powder bottle. The lid was upcycled & dressed with pearls, crochet, buttons, and paper flowers. A  decorative vintage button was set on top, to complete the lid/hat.
The finished dress form was then adhered to a wood coaster for stability.
I had to remember less is more, because I could not stop the embellishing on this dress form - (a sign that I was enjoying the process)
Happy Creating! Hugs,Tee
